Cast Performances

Nani has played the role of Prakash brilliantly. He is at ease performing emotional scenes and his dialogue delivery is impressive. His reactions when he finds out money are superb.

Catherine Tresa is good-looking and she performed well in her limited role. Siddhika Sharma provides glamour treat. Charan Raj returned back to screens after a brief gap and he is good in his role. Others including Raja Ravindra, Duvvasi Mohan, Bharath Reddy are adequate in brief roles.

Analysis

Krishna Vamsi enjoys good fan base and audiences have expectations on his films. He hasn’t been best of his form in recent times and now, Paisa also falls below expectations.

Like all other films, Krishna Vamsi tried to convey a message with Paisa, where the current society giving importance to money and power rather than anything. Although the storyline is impressive, Piasa screenplay is dull and unexciting. Too many loopholes and illogical sequences with over the top scenes only test the audiences’ patience. Added to it, the film is very slow-paced and falls flat in the first half only at second half, the movie picks up pace but looses its steam.

Nani’s performance and few moments like finding 50 crores money and climax episodes are the only assets of the film. All in all, Paisa is a good script ruined by bad screenplay.
