Story:

Story starts of in a village called Parvathipuram. Siva Rama Raju (Jagapathi Babu) is village head and has a huge following towards his attitude. Meanwhile, in the same village a young lad Raju (Manchu Manoj) also runs a Village Sangham and tries to help the needy with his utmost talent in settling their requirements and irks in controversies with Siva Rama Raju.

Siva Rama Raju’s younger daughter Kavitha (Rakul Preet Singh) is a student of beautiful teacher Sunny (Sunny Leone). Raju who tries to woo Sunny Teacher every time will take help Kavitha to give the gifts her.

On the whole process, Sunny Teacher suddenly introduces her Life Partner to Raju and at the same time Kavitha also falls for Raju and move closely to him.

Will Raju loves Kavitha? Does Siva Rama Raju agree Raju’s proposal is worth watching it on a big screen?

Performances:

Manchu Manoj, looks so energetic asusual. His expressions and comedy timing is biggest asset to the film. His dances and own composed stunts are good.

Rakul Preet Singh managed her role with ease with well execution.

Jagapathi Babu is seen in the same look as his recent films he is in, and managed well in the most of the scenes. His mannerisms are impressive on the whole film.

Sunny Leone adds glamour to her role and gives nice twist to Manchu Manoj which heads to hilarious moments on screen.

Sampoornesh Babu a sudden and burning star performance gives a huge whistles in theaters.

Technically:

Director Nageswara Reddy carries film with interesting in the first half and goes in slow pace in the second half of the film.

Editing by Sekhar is impressive.

Music by Achu is best part of the film and got some interesting shots from the cinematography department.

Production Values by 24 Frames Factory is lavishly executed.

Analysis:

Current Theega as mentioned in the caption as High Voltage seems a bit lack in the power of the screenplay. The first half goes in a racy mode and the director gets in confusion to present the film’s next half in slow pace. Though the film goes on entertaining there is no login behind the so many scenes which come and go in the second half.

The film starts in a decent note and Manchu Manoj carried the film with utmost energy in entertaining the audience with same kick as his earlier films were. The scenes between Manchu Manoj and Rakul Preet have scope only in the film’s later half and Sunny Leone steals all the show with twist in first half which gives best part of the film with sudden surprise of Sampoornesh Babu.

Overall, Current Theega gets good response from the audience with nice performances from all the cast in the film.
