Story:

Chandu (Aadi), an orphan and a college student who falls for Siddharth (Srihari) sister Nandu (Rakul Preet Singh). He directly meets Siddharth and tells that he is in love with his sister.

Shocked Siddharth agrees to Chandu’s decision and lays a condition to express his love towards Nandu. Siddharth’s trust makes Chandu to think over his trust towards his sister and challenges Siddharth.

Does Chandu succeed in Nandu’s Love? Will Siddharth compromise with Nandu is worth watch it on big screen?

Performances:

Aadi looks energetic in his role. His dances and action scenes are extremely good. His dialogues and emotional scenes are added advantage.

Rakul Preet Singh looks gorgeous and did an impressive job

Late Srihari’s role gets good response and done a decent job as a loving brother to Rakul in the film.

Raghu Babu and Siva Reddy look hilarious in their respective roles

Technicalities:

Editing is Poor and the Background Music Manisharma fails to impress the audience. Cinematography looks great. The productions values are not up to the standards.

Director Ch. Subbareddy chooses a routine story by adding love and commercial elements to elevate his story line. The screenplay and dialogues looks too boring.

Analysis:

Rough title does justify neither the story nor any other elements. Except Aadi and Srihari roles there is nothing to express. Though there is much scope for entertainment in the form of Raghu Babu and Siva Reddy, the director makes the roles to drag with forced comedy.

Rakul Preet Singh role is wasted in come and go way in the film. Most of the scenes make the audience test the patience who comes into theater. An interesting story line with failed execution makes the whole film boring with no twists and impressive line in the film.

Final Verdict:

Rough is Tough to watch
