Nani to play lead role in Mani Ratnam’s bilingual?

Nani has been a great fan of Mani Ratnam’s work, and when he is approached from the legendary director earlier, he didn’t hesitate to dub for Dulquer Salmaan’s role in OK Bangaram movie.
If the latest reports are to go by, Nani has now bagged a lead role in Mani Ratnam’s next film to be shot in bilingual versions. The film also casts Karthi as the other lead. Gossipmongers are a buzz that Dulquer Salmaan was supposed to act in the movie initially, but since he was busy with his prior Malayalam movie commitments, Mani Ratnam has replaced him with Nani. This indeed must be a memorable achievement for Nani.
“Nani was approached by Mani Ratnam to be part of his next film. Nani recently flew to Chennai to meet up with the director when the deal was sealed. The film will see Nani lock horns with Tamil actor Karthi,” says source.
Nithya Menen and Keerthy Suresh are likely to play the female leads in this romantic action entertainer. Let's wait for an official confirmation though.
