Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 was released on 29th November worldwide, and earned positive response worldwide. The film has taken a good start all over, and has made 20 crores on the day one. Shankar wielded the megaphone for the movie, which is touted to be the costliest film in the country to date with 600 crores budget.
Director Shankar who was overjoyed with the response thanked the audiences. "My heart full thanks to the audience who have lapped up #2point0 and celebrated and made it a huge success, and to all the media who supported and respected the hard work of our team, and to my whole team who have given a piece of their life to 2.0," said the director.
