Mahesh Babu's Loss is Ranbir's Gain?

There have been rumors making rounds on Mahesh Babu and Sandeep Reddy Vanga combo film ever since the sensational hit Arjun Reddy. However, the project didn't materialize although Sandeep Vanga admitted that he narrated a storyline to Mahesh.
Mahesh's fans expected the project to commence post Kabir Singh release, but that didn't happen either. And the latest news we hear is that Sandeep Reddy Vanga is doing a film with Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Singh, and it's going to be a Dark Crime Story.
If the sources are to be believed, it's the same story Sandeep narrated Mahesh, but the latter has rejected the storyline, and Ranbir grabbed the deal. Devil is the title under consideration for the movie. So looks like Mahesh Babu's Loss is Ranbir's Gain..
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu may sign up a film in KGF fame Prashanth Neel direction in his next project. The film will roll from February.
