"Theneteega Rama Rao" is no more!!

Producer Javaji Venkata Rama Rao, popularly known as "Theneteega Rama Rao" (68), passed away this afternoon (May 4, 2025) in Hyderabad. He was known for producing straight Telugu films like Theneteega with Rajendra Prasad, Prema & Co directed by Vamsy and starring Naresh and Vani Vishwanath, Bobbili Veta with Sivakrishna, and Badi, along with several dubbed movies.

He is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter. Rama Rao had been suffering from a liver-related illness for some time and breathed his last while undergoing treatment in the hospital.
