Advance Booking Opens for Vishnu Manchu’s Historical Epic KANNAPPA, North America on Monday, India on Wednesday — Can Day-One Cross the ₹100-Crore Mark?

The global box office is bracing for a divine storm as advance bookings for KANNAPPA, the year’s most anticipated devotional epic, officially open this week. The film, produced by and starring Vishnu Manchu, will begin ticket sales on Monday, 23 June in North America and Wednesday, 25 June across India, ahead of its worldwide release on Friday, 27 June 2025.
Touted as one of the most ambitious Telugu releases to date, the Shiva-centric spectacle will launch across over 5,400 screens globally — marking one of the widest rollouts ever for a devotional film from South India.
4,300+ screens secured across India, with every premium-format auditorium (including IMAX, Screen X, and 4DX) booked for opening week.
1,100+ international locations, including 200+ U.S. premiere sites, setting a new record for a Telugu devotional film’s overseas release.
Buoyed by strong distributor advances and large-scale corporate bookings, KANNAPPA is already tracking for a potential ₹100-crore global opening day, a milestone achieved by only a select few Telugu blockbusters.
