Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan arrived in Melbourne this morning to a warm welcome as he joins the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2025 as its Chief Guest. 

Over the coming days, the celebrated actor will headline a host of marquee events — from officially lighting the ceremonial lamp to mark the festival’s opening, to hoisting the Indian National Flag at the city’s iconic Federation Square. 

He will also attend a special screening of his much-anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par and engage in an intimate conversation with fans, offering insights into his craft and career. Aamir’s presence adds a special sparkle to IFFM’s 16th edition, celebrating the magic of Indian cinema with audiences in Australia.
