West Bengal to Confer Governor’s Award of Excellence on legendary Telugu Actor Shri Mohan Babu
Kolkata / Hyderabad, January 2026: In a moment of historic significance for Telugu cinema and the Telugu-speaking community worldwide, Mohan Babu, one of Indian cinema’s most respected and accomplished actors, will be conferred with the Governor’s Award of Excellence by the Government of West Bengal.
The honour will be presented at a ceremonial function at Lok Bhavan, Kolkata, on Republic Day, January 26, 2026, in the august presence of the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal and distinguished guests, followed by the traditional At Home reception.
