”Band Melam Will Definitely Become a Blockbuster” – Successful Director Bobby at the Glimpse Launch Event

Presented by Mango Mass Media and produced by Kona Venkat under the Kona Film Corporation banner, Band Melam is directed by Satish Javvaji and stars Harsh Roshan and Sridevi in lead roles. The film is scheduled for release on March 13. The movie’s glimpse was released on the occasion of Valentine’s Day by Trivikram on social media. Director Bobby and writer BVS Ravi attended the press meet as chief guests.
Director Bobby said, “I insisted that the glimpse of Band Melam be released on Valentine’s Day. After watching it, I found Roshan’s number and called him immediately. He will become a big star in the future. He performed very naturally and confidently. Sukumar garu likes my love stories a lot and often asks whether I will direct my story or if he should. If I ever make a love story, I would definitely make it with Roshan. Sridevi has a strong social media following and has performed wonderfully in this film. I wish her great success ahead. Satish Javvaji looks silent, but his writing carries sharp satire. This film will surely become a blockbuster. I feel we might even start seeing men wearing ‘thaali’ after this film. His writing and conviction clearly reflect in the film. I hope to work with Vijay Bulganin soon. Satish Muthyala’s visuals are impressive. When Kona garu earns, it feels like we all earn. Just like he was confident during Ninnu Kori, he is equally confident now. This film will make a big impact.”
Producer Kona Venkat said, “In 2017, Shiva Nirvana came to my office, introduced by Shiva Turlapati, and narrated a story I loved immediately. That film later became Ninnu Kori. I felt the same excitement when Satish Javvaji narrated Band Melam. A single dialogue from this film convinced me to produce it. I am not a regular producer, I only produce films when I truly like the story. When I heard this story, I could only imagine Roshan and Sridevi in the lead roles, and I decided to make the film only if they agreed. Everyone, including Vijay Bulganin and Satish Muthyala, joined the project. Writer-editor Shiva Mupparaju worked like an unseen pillar. We planned to release a song but decided to release the glimpse at the last minute. Trivikram immediately supported us when we asked him. Bobby and BVS Ravi are very important in my life. Band Melam will remain a memorable film forever. This project began because of my cousin Shivaraju Rajasekhar. I hope the audience will love this film.”
BVS Ravi said, “I already watched Band Melam. I had heard the story earlier, but I was surprised after watching the film. Satish has directed it beautifully and will become a very good director.
