Apollo Hospitals Unveils 76th Hospital in Hyderabad
Apollo Hospitals has launched its fifth hospital in Hyderabad, further strengthening its healthcare footprint in Telangana after nearly four decades of service in the region.
The newly inaugurated 400-bed smart hospital in the Financial District was officially opened by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy alongside Apollo leadership including Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Shobana Kamineni, and Dr. Sangeeta Reddy.
Designed as a next-generation healthcare facility, the 10-storey hospital integrates digital systems, advanced ICU monitoring, emergency response technology, and comprehensive multi-speciality services under one roof. Apollo aims to deliver faster, safer, and more efficient care while enhancing patient comfort and convenience.
During the event, Revanth Reddy highlighted Hyderabad’s growing importance as a global medical tourism destination and stressed the need for better international connectivity to support healthcare travellers. He noted that more direct flights from countries in the Middle East and other regions would help strengthen Hyderabad’s healthcare ecosystem.
The Chief Minister also praised Apollo Hospitals for its contribution to Indian healthcare and described Dr. Prathap C. Reddy as a visionary who demonstrated how corporate hospitals can provide better treatment to common people at minimal cost.
During the launch, Dr. Prathap C. Reddy announced a large-scale community healthcare initiative offering 10,000 free health screenings every Sunday for residents of Nanakramguda. The initiative reflects Apollo’s emphasis on preventive care and early diagnosis.
Dr. Sangeeta Reddy stated that Apollo continues to push the boundaries of medical innovation in Telangana, from pioneering organ transplants to introducing modern surgical technologies. She described the new facility as a future-ready hospital built around AI-enabled healthcare and patient-first experiences.
The event also featured remarks from Upasana Kamineni Konidela, who highlighted the role of strong support systems in balancing personal and professional life. She further shared that her aunt, Dr. Sangeeta Reddy, has been a guiding mentor for her in taking forward Apollo’s legacy.
Apollo Hospitals described the new facility as “The Hospital of Gratitude,” symbolizing appreciation for the trust that generations of patients have placed in the institution.
