Ajay-Atul’s ‘Phool Parijaat’ Track from Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company’s 'Raja Shivaji' Highlights Love in its Pure, Devotional and Fulfilling Form
Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company’s Raja Shivaji is making waves at the box office ever since it stormed in theatres on 1st May, Maharashtra Day. As the historical epic by Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh continues to maintain a stronghold, the makers of the film unveiled 'Phool Parijaat' track, offering a deeply intimate and poetic glimpse into the world of Saibai, presenting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj not just as India’s one of the greatest warrior kings, but as a life partner seen through the lens of quiet devotion and love. “Phool Parijaat,” sung by one of India's most beloved voice Shreya Ghoshal, has now released its video track. The song beautifully humanizes Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through Saibai’s perspective, portraying a love that is pure, devotional, and deeply fulfilling.
Composed by Ajat-Atul, Phool Parijaat track uses meaningful metaphors to express the emotion of devotional love. The blooming parijaat flower arriving at her doorstep indicates a rare, heavenly gift, much like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj entering her life. For Ajay-Atul, this track is significant in how it maintains restraint and grace while still creating an impact.
The glory of Hindavi Swarajya has risen louder, prouder and stronger than ever with Raja Shivaji emerging as the fourth highest opening day film across all Indian releases this year, and also an impactful release across Marathi cinema. Released with great fanfare by Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company, the cinematic tribute to the legendary warrior king has gotten the families flocking back to theatres.
Presented by Jio Studios, Raja Shivaji, a Mumbai Film Company production, is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Genelia Deshmukh.
