Having lent his iconic voice to numerous leading actors, he went on to establish himself as a celebrated actor in his own right. It is no surprise that the Telugu film industry fondly honours him with the title "Dialogue King."

Born on July 27, 1961, Sai Kumar hails from a distinguished film family as the son of veteran actor P. J. Sharma. Despite his cinematic background, he carved his own identity through sheer talent and dedication. Recently, he achieved the remarkable milestone of completing 50 glorious years in the film industry.

Sai Kumar began his career as a dubbing artist, lending his powerful voice to heroes and several prominent characters in numerous films. His first dubbing assignment was for the film Samsaram. He later made his debut as a child actor with Devudu Chesina Pelli. However, it was the Kannada blockbuster Police Story that catapulted him to stardom. The film's dubbed Telugu version also became a massive hit, earning him immense popularity among Telugu audiences.

Over the years, Sai Kumar has enjoyed an illustrious career across Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil cinema, excelling as a hero, villain, and character actor. Krishna Reddy's Vedavyas, a film directed by Kiran Abbavaram, Roshan Meka's Emo Emo Idi, a Vishwak Sen starrer, Siddhu Jonnalagadda's Lungi Man, the Nithiin–Nani project, Satyadev's Full Bottle, Varun Tej's Bari, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's Kurmavataram, and Sai Prakash's Sai Baba. He will also make a special appearance in Ashwin Babu's Vachinavadu Goutham and a cameo in Aadi Sai Kumar's SI Yugandhar.

Apart from films, Sai Kumar is also part of Moodu Lantharlu, starring Aishwarya Rajesh, and the web series Kanyasulkam. In Kannada, he is playing significant roles in Shivarajkumar's Bail, Nirup Bhandari's Satya: Son of Harishchandra, and Kichcha Sudeep's Billa Ranga Baasha.
