Naga Chaitanya and Samantha's intense romantic drama Majili has completed the censor formalities and the film has bagged U/A certification from regional board. The movie is now scheduled for a grand scale release on April 5th worldwide.
The film's theatrical trailer earned stunning response and the expectations are high on this Shiva Nirvana directorial. Majili has Naga Chaitanya playing the role of Poorna an alcoholic husband to Meera (Samantha), a devoted wife. Poorna gets addicted to alcohol after his failed love affair with Anshu (Divyansha Kaushik) in his youthful days. His relationship with his wife Meera looks intense, emotional and painful. Naga Chaitanya appears in two different looks as a young guy and in a bearded look.
Gopi Prasanna and Thaman (Background score) are the music composers for this Shine Screens production film. Both Naga Chaitanya and Samantha had pinned high hopes and going by the trailer, Majili may repeat the fate of their evergreen classic Ye Maya Chesave at the Box-Office.
