Anja Meyer won the Miss Bigo North America championship and was flown into Vietnam for the Global Finale beauty pageant

We’re excited to share a look back at the MISS BIGO International 2025 – Bigo Live’s first-ever international beauty pageant! The event was marked by the presence of celebrity judges, such as Miss Intercontinental 2022 Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and Tati Maynard, adding a layer of excellence to the pageant. Held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on April 11th, 2025, under the theme “Embrace Every Challenge”, the event brought together 14 inspiring finalist broadcasters from 11 countries to celebrate the strength, diversity, and resilience of women around the world. Anja Meyer won the preliminary rounds that were held online from February till April 2025 through video audition rounds, various competitions and voting. She was chosen as the ‘MISS BIGO North America 2025’ Top 1 Champion Winner to represent North America along with 1st runner-up Tu Nguyen (ID: Chanhizzie) as the two North American finalists at the Global Finale in Vietnam.

“I am incredibly thankful and proud that I was flown to the MISS BIGO International Finale in Ho Chi Minh City and represented the North America region on the global stage. It was my first time ever visiting Vietnam. After I arrived at my hotel, I went for a walk, and I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing myself larger than life on numerous billboards in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This victory is not just about a title or a sash – it’s a symbol of a strong, empowered global community and the strength and resilience of many women who are challenging stereotypes and chasing their dreams,” said Anja.

MISS BIGO International 2025 served as a platform to celebrate World Wide Women with World Wide Beauty. On Day 1, April 9th 2025, Bigo Live organized a sightseeing tour including mini games, a special lunch at the Doan Vien Restaurant and luxurious fine dining at the Ben Thanh Princess Cruise on the Saigon River. Day 2, April 10th 2025, consisted of rehearsals for catwalk choreography, the talent portion and dresses. Day 3, April 11th 2025, concluded with the global finale show. MISS BIGO International 2025 was a triumphant celebration of global beauty and empowerment, uniting dazzling contestants worldwide.

The best 14 finalist contestants from countries such as USA, Canada, the UK, the Philippines, Korea, China and Vietnam were selected to compete in the global final round through competitions such as runway, interviews and talent performances. Tran Mai Thuy Vy (ID: Harivy15) from Vietnam was crowned MISS BIGO International 2025.

Anja Meyer is a model and a broadcaster on Bigo for over 6 years, with multiple awards to her name. She joined the competition to inspire as a symbol of strength and determination and emphasized the league of extraordinary women, showcasing inspiration, talent, and elegance on a global stage. Anja walked the runway in gorgeous evening gowns and on stage performed an uplifting poem about what it means to be “beautiful”. Throughout her performance, she expressed the message that we all see beauty differently, sparking inspiration for millions of women around the world to embrace their uniqueness with self-love, pursue their dreams fearlessly, and believe in themselves with pride. As the ‘MISS BIGO North America 2025’ and proud finalist contestant in MISS BIGO International 2025, she showcased poise and sophistication through her powerful runway performance. With every stride on the catwalk, Anja brought to life the elegance of international beauty and fashion.

All 14 finalists won prize money and a 3-day trip to Vietnam, including paid flights, luxury hotel accommodation, and a sightseeing tour in Ho Chi Minh City, and furthermore were on multiple billboards across the largest city in Vietnam, in Ho Chi Minh City. The billboards were used to promote the Global Finale and showcase the contestants and were active even after the event until Sunday, April 13th, 2025.
