Aadi Saikumar's Shambhala Locks Solid Deals Before Release

Aadi Saikumar’s upcoming mystical thriller Shambhala is making waves in Tollywood even before hitting theatres. With nearly a month to go for release, the film has already ensured table profits, signalling strong pre-release buzz and buyer confidence.

At a time when non-theatrical business is unpredictable for many films, Shambhala has emerged as an exception. The film’s intriguing concept, coupled with the striking visuals shown in the teaser and trailer, has drawn impressive offers from digital and satellite platforms.

Leading Telugu OTT platform Aha has snapped up the digital streaming rights for an impressive price. Similarly, Zee Telugu has acquired the satellite rights, completing two major business deals well ahead of the film’s theatrical debut. These early closures reflect the growing craze surrounding the movie.

The story, set against a 1980s village backdrop, revolves around a meteor strike and an intense conflict involving Shiva and an Asura. This unique blend of mythology, science, and supernatural elements is believed to be the biggest crowd-puller. Sai Kumar’s powerful narration in the trailer further heightened expectations and added to the film’s mystical aura.

Directed by Ugandhar Muni and produced by Rajashekar Annabhimoju and Mahidhar Reddy, Shambhala promises grand visuals and a gripping narrative. Aadi Saikumar plays a geologist, with Archana Iyer and Swasika in key roles.

With strong business already in place, industry circles are curious to see if the film can replicate the same success at the box office.
