20,000 Students Unite in Tirupati for Grand Tiranga Rally on Independence Day
Tirupati, August 15, 2026: Marking the spirit of Independence Day and reinforcing the message of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, over 20,000 students from Mohan Babu University and Sri Vidyanikethan International School came together for a grand Tiranga Rally in Tirupati.
The rally witnessed the participation of students from Mohan Babu University and Sri Vidyanikethan International School, who marched together carrying a spectacular 100-foot-long Indian Tricolour. The sight of thousands of students walking together with the national flag created a powerful display of patriotism, unity and national pride.
Vishnu Manchu, Pro-Chancellor of Mohan Babu University, joined the students during the rally, along with the Vice-Chancellor, faculty and staff members. His participation encouraged the students to come together and celebrate the values embodied by the national flag.
The rally was organised in the spirit of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, encouraging the younger generation to celebrate Independence Day with pride and strengthen their connection with the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishnu Manchu, Pro-Chancellor, Mohan Babu University said , “Tiranga is a symbol of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the hopes and aspirations of every Indian. Seeing thousands of students from Mohan Babu University and Sri Vidyanikethan International School come together with such enthusiasm is deeply inspiring. As educational institutions, it is our responsibility to nurture young minds who are not only academically strong, but also conscious of their responsibility towards the nation.”
