What made you choose the story of Transfer Trimurthulu?

The core idea and story of Transfer Trimurthulu are very different and unique. I liked the story immensely. It has thrilling elements while still being a film that the entire family can watch together. My character in the movie also feels very fresh and different.

Isn't Transfer Trimurthulu outside your comfort zone?

The way audiences watch films has changed today. It is no longer enough to make only family dramas or love stories. Audiences are appreciating films that combine various elements and offer fresh content. Transfer Trimurthulu brings a new concept while remaining a complete family entertainer.

Why did you decide to become the producer for your comeback film?

I had immense faith in this story. I wasn't sure whether another producer would share the same confidence. It's not that someone else would have changed the story, but I truly believed in it. That is why I decided to produce it myself.

Will Transfer Trimurthulu have entertainment elements as well?

There is a lot of entertainment in the character of Trimurthulu itself. I appear as a constable, and the character suits that role perfectly. The film is not a regular commercial entertainer as audiences might expect. I play a constable who fights against problems while working within the system. We worked on the script for nearly a year.

How realistic is Transfer Trimurthulu?

The film is largely realistic. It is not a full-fledged investigative thriller. We included fights and songs only where they were necessary to the story.

Have you noticed changes in film production compared to the past?

Production costs have increased significantly, and many aspects of filmmaking have changed. However, we planned everything thoroughly in advance, so we did not face any major problems. The budget exceeded our initial estimate slightly. The OTT rights have already been acquired by the Zee team.

Tell us about director Kamal Teja Narla.

Kamal worked extensively on this story. We spent nearly a year focusing solely on the script. His approach to filmmaking and storytelling felt very fresh and innovative.

What can you say about Rashi Singh?

She plays the wife of Trimurthulu in the film. Raashi has delivered an excellent performance. I believe her character will impress everyone.

Are you seeing the love audiences are showing you now?

For the last twelve years, wherever I appeared, Telugu audiences would affectionately tell me, "Please act in movies again, sir." Now I am witnessing the love they are showering on both me and this film. I will always remain grateful for their affection.

Which recent films and characters have impressed you?

I liked Rangasthalam. I especially enjoyed the characters played by Ram Charan and Jagapathi Babu. I also liked Allu Arjun's character in Pushpa. More recently, I enjoyed Chiranjeevi garu's role in Man Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.

Why did you choose a new director instead of working with an established filmmaker?

I could have directly approached a big director. But first, I need to understand what my current market value is. Also, a reputed director must be interested in working with me. Once this film releases, I will have a clearer idea of my market position.

What kind of appreciation do you expect after the release of Transfer Trimurthulu?

I strongly believe audiences will say that I have made a good film. So far, nearly a hundred members of my family have watched it. They were all pleasantly surprised. Many of them expected me to make a film focused solely on promoting myself. However, after seeing the story and content, everyone was genuinely shocked.

Among today's heroes, whom do you admire?

I like the work being done by Nani and Sharwanand. They consistently choose good characters and films. I enjoyed Court very much. The young actor in Little Hearts performed really well. I also greatly liked Chiranjeevi garu's role in Man Shankara Varaprasad Garu.

What kind of projects do you plan to do next?

At present, I am focusing on solo hero projects and would like to continue doing them. However, if I like a story, I am open to multistarrers as well. If the content is compelling, I would even do a project specifically for OTT platforms.

What can audiences expect from Transfer Trimurthulu?

The story begins at a measured pace. However, once the central conflict starts, the narrative becomes gripping and remains engaging until the climax. The climax, in particular, is something no one will be able to predict.
