"SAV3" Completes Shooting; Special Pooja Ceremony Held with Prominent Producer Ashok Kumar as Chief Guest

Film stars Samrat, Demon Pawan, and "Ranu... Nene Bombay Ki Ranu" song fame Likhita in lead roles

The upcoming film "SAV3", starring Samrat, Demon Pawan, and Likhita (popularly known from the hit folk song "Ranu... Nene Bombay Ki Ranu"), has successfully completed its shooting schedule. Produced by V. Vijaya under the Lakshmi Krishna Films banner as Production No. 2, the film is being directed by actor-director Krishna Maya.

To mark the completion of the shoot, a special pooja ceremony was organized today. Renowned producer Ashok Kumar attended the event as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Producer Ashok Kumar said: "Krishna Maya is a person with immense passion for cinema. He is a multi-talented individual—an art director, actor, writer, and filmmaker. I have known him since the days of Preminchukundam Raa. He also played a role in our film Eeshwar. He is someone who constantly thinks about cinema. I advised him many times to stay away from the risks of filmmaking, but his passion keeps driving him forward. The industry is currently going through a slump, but audiences will always support good content. Since youth are the primary theater-going audience, Krishna Maya is making a youthful entertainer. He often says he learned systematic planning in filmmaking from me. He has completed this film in the same planned manner. I hope SAV3 becomes a big success and encourages him to make many more films."

Director Krishna Maya said: "Earlier, we produced Railway Station under the Lakshmi Krishna banner. SAV3 is our second film under this banner. There is a reason behind the title. 'Sa' represents Savitri, the heroine's character. 'V' stands for Vijay Kumar, the character played by Demon Pawan. The '3' represents Trivikram Raju, the character played by Samrat. We are holding this pooja ceremony after completing the film because we weren't sure whether we could afford such an event earlier. We completed the shoot, dubbing, and are now in the editing stage, so we decided to celebrate happily. It may sound unusual, but it reflects our effort to remain financially safe during production. I initially wondered how newcomers Likhita and Demon Pawan would perform, but they exceeded expectations. It felt like they simply hadn't received the right opportunities until now. Sai Kartheek's music will be one of the film's major highlights. Every technician on the team has delivered outstanding work. We are very confident that SAV3 will be a success."

Hero Samrat said: "I've been slightly away from the film industry recently due to business commitments. During the shoot of a private song, director Krishna Maya narrated this script to me. It's a beautiful story set against a village backdrop and inspired by real incidents. We completed the shoot in a very planned and efficient manner. Likhita looks even more beautiful in this film. I made my debut with Something Something when I was 19, and since then I haven't come across a character as good as this one or a director like Krishna Maya. Audiences will witness a completely new Samrat through this film. Our director extracted exactly the performances he wanted from us."

Hero Demon Pawan said: "After Bigg Boss, I was carefully considering my next film when Krishna Maya narrated this script. It is an excellent story. His narration was so expressive that I wanted to keep listening. I believed working with such a director would earn me recognition as an actor. We performed naturally, often improvising on set without depending heavily on written dialogues. Samrat's character has come out exceptionally well, and Likhita too will earn a lot of appreciation through this film. In a short span of time, we have made a quality film."

Heroine Likhita said: "The moment the director narrated the script, I clearly understood how the film would shape up. I took a short break from folk songs because I wanted to focus on meaningful roles as an actress. However, if a good album comes along, I will certainly do it. While waiting for the right script, this film came my way. I am happy to have co-stars like Samrat and Pawan, who are excellent performers. Producer Vijaya garu never compromised on production quality. We all internalized the story and performed without relying on script papers, and that was possible because of our director."
